    President


    Dee joined the Shoreline Chamber as President in October, 2021. She brings an impressive array of knowledge and wealth of experience to the position. Dee’s understanding of the needs of businesses of all sizes makes her an outstanding leader for the Chamber as well as an advocate for our members. She is passionate about the Shoreline’s growth as a vital and thriving community of businesses and non-profits. She has been CEO of VelosCT LLC, a consulting firm focused on strategic planning, operations, and project management. Prior to that, she was Managing Partner at Avraham Y. Goldratt Institute where she developed and taught courses in strategic thinking, supply chain and project management. Dee began her career at Procter and Gamble and most recently, Dee was Co-Owner and General Manager of The Marketplace at Guilford Food Center until March 2020.

    Dee is a graduate of Lafayette College and of the University of Tennessee’s Executive Excellence Center. She is currently a Board Member of The Guilford Foundation and serves on the Board of Corporators for Guilford Savings Bank. She and her husband Bob have five children and eight grandchildren.

    Community Development and Outreach Manager

     

    Mary Grande joined the Shoreline Chamber as Community Development and Outreach Manager in July 2023. In her role, Mary will work with members and not-yet-members in the Shoreline Community, lead some of the Chamber’s Signature Events such as the Women of Excellence Luncheon and find new inroads to strengthen the community of the Shoreline Chamber and each of the towns we represent. 

    Mary was previously a Community Relations Specialist at New Reach and was the Connecticut Development Manager for the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America. In her role as a member of the GNHCC, she chaired their Non-Profit Council and served as an ambassador. 

    Mary has also served on a variety of Boards in the Branford Community including the Branford Festival Committee and Corporate Board, BACA (Branford Arts and Cultural Alliance), and the Branford Board of Education. She is currently vice-chair of the Branford Counseling & Community Services Commission and a member of the development committee of New Reach.

    Mary and her husband Bob have resided in Branford for 35 years and are the proud parents of their three adult children, Jonathan, Jenna and Jeffrey, and daughter-in-law Melissa.

  • Maribel Lota
    Finance and Operations Manager


    Maribel joined the Shoreline Chamber as Membership and Operations Coordinator in June, 2022. Most recently she worked at RLD Heating & Cooling and Women & Family Life Center and comes to us with experience working with businesses on the CT Shoreline. Maribel is wonderful at customer service, proficient in Quick Books and is fluent in English and Spanish. She will be responsible for administering Chamber events and assisting new members that join the Chamber while working with our members in a variety of ways. In addition, she will be coordinating our new webinar program that will debut in the Fall.  Maribel, and her husband Tony, along with their two children live in Guilford and are actively involved in the community for the past 20 years.

    Meggin is the Master of Chamber Master and is available to help members with setting up their portal and using their portal. Meggin is the point person for all vendors for the Artisan Marketplace, Health and Wellness Fair, and Fall Festival & Expo.
