Collage a Master Art WorkName: Collage a Master Art WorkDate: October 2, 2019Time: 12:30 PM - 3:00 PM EDTWebsite: http://spectrumartgallery.orgEvent Description:
This class focuses on how to alter a well-known work of art and make it your own. Select a Picasso, Klimt, or any art work you have fancied. Color copy it to suit the size of your canvas, for example, 9x12 or 10 x 10, etc. Using tracing paper learn to outline the image onto the canvas panels and then select from a mix of papers, script, maps, canceled postage stamps, newspaper and other collected ephemera to create and compose your image. Other mediums such as acrylics, inks, gesso, tea & or old coffee are also explored to quiet areas down or enhance where needed. This class is a good introduction to collage or for those with experience a way to take your collages to another level. No experience necessary. Material list available or use instructor's.
