Often dismissed as a mindless distraction, doodling is actually a powerful tool for creativity, focus, and insight. In this hands-on workshop, participants explore doodling as a creative practice through guided prompts, playful experimentation, and reflective discussion bringing to the surface new ideas, fresh perspectives and loosening rigid thinking.   Leave this workshop with an easy, pressure-free way to use doodling to  connect with your natural creativity. Stacey Jill Zackin creates doodle-inspired art that celebrates intuitive play, whimsy, and the beauty of not knowing where the creative process will lead. Stacey approaches each piece as a visual conversation between spontaneity and intention and facilitates creative workshops for adults that weave together art, reflection, and personal and professional growth.

With a PhD in Depth Psychology, Stacey has studied creativity’s connection to psychological well-being and meaning–making—a background that shapes her view of art as a way to express thoughts and feelings through design. She has also exhibited her work at Art Space in Hartford, Gallery 55 in Meriden and the Connecticut Governor’s Residence, where her creative journey began as a seventh-grade student. Stacey’s work is currently exhibited at Spectrum Gallery in Centerbrook, Connecticut.
