    Job Description

    Administrative Assistant

    Position Description:

    Reports to the President, this position provides administrative support for the Chamber’s overall operations as assigned.

    Specific Duties Include:

    • Administrative
    • Serve as the Chamber receptionist
    • Greet visitors to the Chamber office
    • Inventory & order office supplies
    • Provide administrative support for other staff
    • Manage President’s calendar
    • Retrieve, sort and distribute mail
    • Stamp and log checks received from members
    • Make deposits at bank as needed
    • Enter & maintain event reservations into database
    • Print name badges & reports as needed
    • Marketing
    • Schedule and oversee the Monthly Mailer member insert reservations
    • Secure and manage volunteers for collation
    • Prepare mailing according to US Postal standards for bulk mail and deliver to Post Office
    • Maintain postage log usage amounts specific to events/programs
    • Maintain brochure rack and order brochures as needed
    • Oversee sales of Map ads
    • Create, edit and schedule weekly E-News
    • Create, edit and schedule weekly Member News
    • Assists with Social Media posts on various platforms
    • Website
    • Approve submissions for Calendar of Events on website
    • Enter and maintain Member2Member Discounts and Member News on website
    • Database/Membership
    • Enter new members into database and send welcome packages weekly
    • Process database changes as needed
    • Process renewal & cancellation letters
    • Collate membership packets
    • Other
    • Other duties as assigned

    Schedule Requirements:

    • Must be able to work a non-traditional schedule

    Committee Responsibilities: Serve as a liaison to committees as needed
