BHcare Launches Annual Under the Tree Project to Bring Holiday Cheer to Local Families

BHcare is excited to announce the return of its annual Under the Tree Project, a holiday giving initiative that brings joy, comfort, and hope to individuals and families impacted by domestic violence, mental health challenges, and substance use.

Last year, generous donors fulfilled more than 660 gifts for BHcare clients, helping to make the season brighter for those facing difficult times. This year, BHcare invites community members, businesses, and organizations to get involved and help spread holiday cheer once again.

Participants in the Under the Tree Project can “adopt” a client or family by fulfilling one of their holiday wishes valued at $50 or less. Donors will receive wish details, purchase and wrap the gift, and drop it off for distribution in early December. Monetary donations are also welcome and will be used to purchase gifts, food, and essential items for clients in need.

We are inspired by the kindness and generosity of our community. A single gift can mean so much, it lets someone know they’re cared for and not forgotten during the holidays.

The Under the Tree Project supports clients across BHcare’s programs, including The Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services, the Parent Child Resource Center, and Shoreline and Valley Social Clubs.
