Welcome to the Shoreline Chamber!
Branford and Guilford, located on Long Island Sound, are shoreline communities with all the charms a shoreline town should offer - boutique shopping, restaurants that offer a variety of cuisines, boating, beaches, hiking trails, antique shops, art galleries and historic home museums.
North Branford and Northford in addition to being farming communities, offer hiking trails, excellent recreational facilities plus dining and shopping, in charming bucolic settings.
Our towns seek to maintain their value and character as they continue the development of commercial and industrial business. Located halfway between New York and Boston, our communities are well served by major highways, including Interstate 95, Route 80 and rail connections.

Q&A with Chamber Member: Paul L. D'Albero
Address: 11A Old Bradley Street, East Haven, CT
Phone Number: (203) 469-4566
Chamber: What are your hours of operation?
Paul: M- F 8:30 – 4:30 (24/7 Service)
Chamber: Why did you (or the founder) start this business?
Paul: DELTACOM is a family owned and operated Connecticut corporation. It was started in 1982 in the early days of "independent" telephone systems. These systems allowed for innovative features and lower cost for the market.
Chamber: What aspect of your business are you passionate about?
Paul: I enjoy the application of a system to a client's specific needs. This engineered approach gives our customers many options. Unfortunately, many new installations center around a few basic features rather than the demands of the application.
Chamber: What is your most popular service?
Paul: Our most popular item is still the installation of telephone systems. The new technology allows these systems to keep pace with the demands of the user.
Chamber: Did you introduce any new products or services recently?
Paul: Voice-over-IP based solutions have re-defined our industry. VoIP to the desktop, system networking, Unified Communications Suite and SIP trunks are all based in this technology. Multi-site and networked applications are vey effective. Our clients have the benefit of hosted systems without the costly and recurring service charges.
Chamber: How would your customers describe your business?
Paul: Accessible and reliable.
Chamber: Why should new people come to your business?
Paul: Custom application and innovation. We have always sold product based on the needs of installation, not our product line.
Chamber: Why do people return to your business?
Paul: All of us at DELTACOM are proud of our customer loyalty rate. Our team takes the time to know our clients. We have customers that have been with us since the 1980s with several generations of systems installed.
Chamber: Is there something unique about your business that people may not know?
Paul: DELTACOM is not a large organization. We find, however, that our operation allows for personalized attention to our customer base. In choosing quality product and expert installation, we are able to service client locations in several states around the country. We maintain systems in large and small businesses including municipalities, boards of education, fire & police departments and ambulance services.
Chamber: Is there anything else you'd like to share about your business?
Paul: We are honored to celebrate our 37 years in service and appreciate the support of our customers.
