Farmers Market at the Guilford Fairgrounds opening day

Hello Market Friends, We are just a couple days away from opening day!!!!! Come shop and support local!!! Please be sure to check out all of our market vendors. Don't forget, the new market hours are 4pm-7pm. Starting May 16th we will be at the Guilford Fairgrounds weekly from 4-7pm. Located at 111 Lovers Lane. There are a lot of returning vendors and some new ones on the list. We have added Murphy's Mushrooms to the lineup. They are a small CT grown mushroom farm with a variety of mushrooms. We have also added Tiny Greens, a young microgreens farm that has a nice spread of different microgreens. We've also added 5th state Distillery. They are a CT Distillery that uses grains from a local CT farm. The Remedy's Cultured Cafe is also joining us. Along with their CBD items made in CT, they are also bringing us fermented foods. The Tasty Sprinkle comes with some baked good and will be on an every other week basis. A note to our awesome patrons: our farmers have seasonal crops and will have product based on what is in season. We encourage you to stop down and speak with our farmers and find out when certain items you look for will be ready to pick. Come hungry and visit our food truck. We'll have live music every week. 24 Peace joins us for opening day. they carry eco friendly shirts with prints from local artists. A portion of their sales goes towards charity. Dondero Orchards- a wide variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables. Baked goods and pickled items. Potter Family Farm- pasture raised beef and pork Murphy's Mushrooms- CT grown mushroom. Several varieties available. Tiny Greens- great variety of microgreens. Soulstice Kombucha- small batch flavored local kombucha made from minimal ingredients delivering the highest quality product. Meadow Walk Farm- Unique Jams 5th State Distillery- local CT Distillery offering a variety of spirits made from grains grown on a CT farm. Papa Spyros Olive Oil- Greek Olive oil, hummus, tzatziki, spanikopita, baklava and more. Lost Lake Organic Farm- organic vegetables, rhubarb, flowers and more. Well Comb Home Honey- local raw honey, flavored honey and more. The Remedy's Cultured Cafe- Natural products from the Remedy Co., health tonics, sauces, fermented veggies and yogurt. Star Fish Market- freshest, highest quality fish and seafood caught in a sustainable way. Passionately Pasta-varieties of fresh made pastas. Through grace and grain, Chef Nick turns pasta into poetry. He grinds grains into flour to make his creations. Check out Chef Nick's menu board to see what he has brought for the week. MarnaRoons- Gluten Free coconut macaroons. Dairy-free and vegan options available each week. 20% of profits go to charity. Country Bread Bakery- artisan sourdough breads and other bakery items The Tasty Sprinkle- sweet treats bakery with lots to choose from. Al's Kettle Corn- unique blend of kettle corn made in small batches. 24 Peace- eco friendly shirts with prints from local artists. Mostly Nuts- decadently delicious healthy nut and seed blends. They have a variety of flavors and also use their nut blends to make chocolate bark. Pop's Famous Guac- Handmade guacamole with zesty and robust flavors of cilantro, jalapeno, lime and a special blend of spices. Anna’s Lemonade- old fashioned lemonade made with simple ingredients. They also offer flavored lemonade. Travelling Italian Chef- is a personal chef. He also has a sauce & pasta line that goes back five generations to Naples, Italy. Marinara, Traditional and Vodka sauce a Puttanesca sauce. Varieties of pasta: Penne, Mezze Rigatoni, Fusilli and a rare Casarecce. Auntie Arwen’s Spices- Pretty much every spice you can think of and then some. Spice blends and stand alone. Chet's Italian Ice & Gelato- old fashioned Italian Ice made in small batches. Made with high quality ingredients. TJJ Sews-Dog Collars and more The Dog Bone- fresh baked dog treats. Ronnie's Candles- high quality and highly fragrances 100% soy candles and soy melts handcrafted in small batches Handmade in Madison- crocheted and knitted items. FOOD TRUCKS: Franks Wood Fired Pizza- artisan Wood Fired pizza made to order. Their signature is the pear pizza with gorgonzola, bacon, pear and a drizzle of local honey. Bake Bake Hooray- cinnamon roll truck serving delicious freshly baked cinnamon rolls. They also serve stuffed cookies and varieties of baked treats. Enter the fairgrounds and follow the signs for parking. The Farmers Market at the Guilford Fairgrounds is hosted by the Guilford Agricultural Society. Market vendors are subject to change.
