Gift of Life

Description

As some of you may know, one of our own received the daunting news that his cancer was back and immediate action was necessary. Ben began chemotherapy today at CCMC in Hartford and despite long road ahead, he will fight every day! Often times we ask ourselves what we can do to help in these situations and the answer is simple – find out if you can be a donor for Ben. A 2- minute cheek swab could save his life, so let’s rally together as a community and see if someone among us is a match for Ben!
 
We are holding an event with Gift of Life to register and collect as many donor samples as we can, all we need is YOU!

Location: Branford CrossFit
Who: All ages. (Adults 18-35 are the IDEAL candidates)
  
The process is simple, scan a QR code to register for the database, use the provided test kit to swab your cheek, seal it up in the envelope and we will ship it back to the lab – no cost to participate, just show up for Ben!
