Speakers:

Michael Webber, Director Fidelity Financial Intelligence Unit

Mike Webber is a Director in Fidelity Investments Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU), focusing on Cyber Investigations.  As manager of FIU’s  Client Incident Response Program, Michael is responsible for correlating cybersecurity incidents outside of Fidelity with select Fidelity clients, alerting them to the potential risk, and lending them FIU’s expertise in the area of cyber investigations.   He is also responsible for the creation and delivery of educational programs designed to raise client’s awareness around the latest cyber fraud trends.

During the nine years before he joined Fidelity, Mr. Webber managed a consulting firm that provided digital forensics and incident response services as well as training to law firms, corporations, and U.S. Government clients.   During that time he traveled to over 30 countries as a contractor with the U.S. State Department’s Office of Antiterrorism Assistance, supporting law enforcement charged with investigating cyber-crime.  He also created and delivered an annual multi-day cyber tabletop exercise for Fidelity.    Prior to that, Michael spent twelve years in law enforcement, primary focused on cybercrime and financial investigations.
