Mystic Aquarium’s “Freezin’ For A Reason” Arctic Splash

It's almost time to take a dive into the icy waters of the Long Island Sound to support Mystic Aquarium's annual “Freezin' For A Reason” arctic splash.

Mystic Aquarium is joining forces with Southeastern Connecticut's premiere restaurant groups to raise funds for our Animal Care Teams. We’re proud to have this group of culinary creatives supporting Mystic Aquarium’s first responders – the volunteers and staff of our Animal Rescue Program.

Splashers plunge into the water at 11:30AM and we encourage supporters to gather before and after for a fun-filled day of community spirit. The Fisherman Restaurant will provide a buffet lunch for all those willing to brave the icy temperatures. Participants also receive a ticket for a free drink and a cash bar will be available. Top fundraisers and teams will have the chance to win prizes on the big day.
