There's no school in Branford on Election Day. Why not spend some time at Gather with your child preparing for the holiday season. Local artist Sarah Barnes will lead a step-by-step class to create three adorable painted wood slice ornaments (actual designs will be revealed the day of the event). Whether they're painted to decorate your tree or your home or to gift to loved ones during the holiday season, these wood-slice ornaments will make great keepsakes.
Children ages 5 and up can attend the class from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Parents must stay with their child for the duration of the class and are welcome to help their child with their creations. If parents would like to make their own set of ornaments, they are required to purchase a separate ticket.
We are hosting a tween drop-off class for middle school students from 2:30 to 4 p.m.
Those interested in an adults only BYOB night out can purchase tickets for the event on Thursday, Nov. 7 from 7 to 9 p.m.
