Branford Entrepreneur Launches New "Grass Rootz" DIY Organic Lawn Care
After two years of R&D, unique combination of custom natural fertilizer and professional microbial root enhancer helps lawns to grow, green up and develop deep, lush roots. The new product is also applicable to vegetable and flower gardens.
Local entrepreneur Doug Rice recently launched the Grass Rootz Organic Plus Lawn Care Treatment Program to help Do It Yourself homeowners to enjoy beautiful, natural, people- and pet-friendly lawns while saving the environment. The new product is also applicable to vegetable and flower gardens.
In a single application using a garden hose, homeowners can easily apply a mix of proprietary Grass Rootz Green Shot eco-friendly natural fertilizer and Grass Rootz Root Boozter professional-grade microbial root enhancer. Once applied, this unique blend helps lawns to grow, green up, and develop deep, lush roots that are hundreds and thousands of times thicker than typical lawn roots. This mix pulls nitrogen from the air, aerating the lawn and the process soil. Healthier soil with an abundance of microbes results in increased stress tolerance and water consumption, reduced fertilizer needs and diminished disease. Rice was inspired to help the environment after moving to Branford from upstate Connecticut several years ago.
